Ephesians 4:1-6

UNITY

• Eph. 4:2 is discussing traits of Jesus – we are called to be like Christ!
• Eph. 4:3 refers to UNITY IN THE SPIRIT
• One member of the body “in pain” hurts the whole body.
• One member of the body in sin affects the entire body of Christ!
• We need to guard our members as one body – pray for each other and encourage each other.
• We should not do anything to harm the body.
• We should long to please God out of our love for Him, because He first loved us.
• We have a DIVINE PURPOSE that is our calling.
• Seek the rule and reign of Christ in your life, and all the other things of Matthew 6:33 will follow.

  • One Spirit
  • One hope
  • One Lord
  • One faith
  • One baptism
  • One God and Father
