Are You A Good Soldier?

2 Timothy 2:3-4

1. WE need to be a FIGHTER to be a good soldier.
2. We need to be FOCUSED to be a good soldier.
3. We need to be FAITHFUL to be a good soldier.

Key Thoughts -

• Jesus expects us to be soldiers.
• Fight for what is right.
• We are continuously in a war between what is RIGHT and what is WRONG.
• Satan seeks to destroy – like a roaring lion.
• Put on the whole armor of God in order to battle Satan.
• Focus on Jesus.  Focus on the outcome.  Focus on eternity.
• Remember that a soldier knows his objective.
• Salvation is more than just a ticket to Heaven – we have WORK to do!
• Always ask – does what I am doing have an eternal value?
