Sermon and Teaching NotesPastor Daryl Hannah
Philippians 3:10-14
- We should RECOGNIZE the value of time
- We should RECONSIDER our past
- We should RECONSTRUCT our priorities
In the average lifespan of 75 years, the average person spends….
- 3 years acquiring an education
- 7 years eating
- 14 years working
- 5 years riding in a car or airplane
- 5 years talking
- 1 year in sickness or recovery
- 3 years reading newspapers, magazines, etc.
- 12 years amusing ourselves
1 service per week at church, on the other hand, comes out to only 5.4 months in 75 years. 4 services per week would be 21.6 months.
Time is like a valuable commodity in a delicate vessel.
