God’s Perfect Plan Revealed – UPCOMING SERMON SERIES

What's Happening |

It is with great excitement for me personally as a Christian to anticipate the celebration of Easter Sunday here in just a few short weeks.

As a lot of you know, Easter Sunday is huge to a Believer simply because it marks the most important event in the history of man. One way to look at is that it is the Sunday of all Sundays! One might ask, why do you see it that way? Well, for one simple reason, He is Alive! Indeed, it is true Jesus Christ did rise from the grave victoriously! That is why Easter Sunday (and technically every Sunday) is so important to humankind. It is the fact that the grave could not hold Him, just as He said it couldn’t.

As I said a moment ago, most of you know that truth. However, one of the things that has intrigued me over the course of my Christian walk is the fact that God had all this planned before the actual event of Jesus here on earth in human flesh took place! Can you believe that? It is amazing for me to consider the fact that God had a perfect plan for us even before us, our parents, or even our first parents Adam and Eve came along.

To spare you a lot of theological detail, I will say this, the event of the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord was in the heart of God even before Genesis chapter one. WOW! Prove it, Pastor. Ok. Look for just a moment at I Peter 1:18-20. The Bible says this, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you”. That is pretty awesome stuff for anybody to try to wrap his or her mind around.

In addition, I am excited that the Holy Spirit has given me a series of sermons around this subject namely, “God’s Perfect Plan Revealed”. I am excited to get to share some of the deeper truths of this subject starting this Sunday morning at Crossroads and the ones following, with a conclusion on Easter Sunday. Within these messages I hope to convey several things but I pray most of all that those who hear them will acquire an understanding of just how important each of us are to our Father in Heaven. So important that He saw fit to make a perfect plan for such an un-perfect people as us, even before we would need it. Of course, the pinnacle of His perfect plan for us was to give His Son to die for our sins, and that by His resurrection we may have life eternally. Such an important thing to know and to look into.

See You Soon!

In Christ,

Pastor Dean Bradford
